Geoffrey Lewis was an American actor who appeared in about 200 films and television shows and is known mostly for his films, along with Clint Eastwood and Robert Redford. He is portrayed as a villain and other quirky characters. He played a bodyguard in Jean Claude Vam Damme’s film Double Impact.

He was born on July 31, 1935, in Plainfield, New Jersey, and was raised in California. He studied theatre arts at San Bernardino Valley College for two years, worked as a truck driver, and did other odd jobs before kick-starting his career.
He took acting classes in New York City and performed in regional theatres in Massachusetts. After that, he tried to enter Hollywood in the 1960s.
He worked on many television shows. A few of those are Bonanza, Mork & Mindy, Mission Impossible, Cannon, Barnaby Jones, The A-team, The Golden Girls, PI, She Wrote, Lou Grant, The X-files, Mama’s Family, Murder, Titus, Magnum, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Little House On The Prairie Highway To Heaven, Walker, Starsky & Hutch, Texas Ranger and so on.
He played the opposite of many great artists, such as Polly Holliday in Alice Spinoff Flo, for which he also received The Golden Globe Nomination.
He also won the best actor at the 2006 California Independent Film Festival State Awards for his role in Old Man Music.

How Did The Actor Die?
On April 7, 2015, he died of a heart attack at 79. He experienced the attack while working out at the Motion Picture Hospital. Miles Lewis, his son, told Variety that he had had Parkinson’s syndrome and Dementia.
